History
Altech was founded in 1984. Houston lacked a computer and electronics recycler at the time.
We recognized the emerging need as an opportunity that we were determined to address.
We became the first computer and electronics recycler in Houston, the fourth largest city in the US.
We continue to innovate in resale, recycling, reverse logistics, refurbishment, tear down, data destruction, testing and processing for computers and electronics.
We move ahead today with the same principles and added R2v3, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
We are proud to be celebrating our 40th year in 2024.
